Product Designer

2024–2026

Software house. I was the only designer on TwoContinents, a travel e-commerce platform in Dubai, until I hired and onboarded a second one. I led the website redesign, the checkout refactor and the internal dashboard, from research to the design system and developer handoff.

    TwoContinents Website redesign

As the only designer on the TwoContinents website, I started with what nobody had: product data. An audit, product analytics and surveys shaped a five-stage roadmap and a custom design system, and weekly QA reviews with the developers caught 40% more issues before production.

    • +40% More issues caught on dev, before production
    • 50+ Components in a custom design system
    • 5 Roadmap stages of 1–3 months

    TwoContinents Internal dashboard

I designed the internal dashboard TwoContinents runs on: the tours module, where creating a tour went from 30 minutes to 3, the Financial Log for the whole company, and the attendance list guides use in the field. All of it started with interviews and watching people work.

    • 30→3 min Time to create a tour
    • 12 Interviews (7 staff, 5 guides)
    • 3 Connected modules: tours, Financial Log, guides' app

    TwoContinents Checkout refactor

I rebuilt the purchase path of the TwoContinents website: an expert audit, in-depth interviews with customers and a prioritised report for the client, then a new product page, cart and checkout designed mobile first, with every payment state and two add-to-cart variants for an A/B test.

    • 20 Friction points in an expert audit (12 attractions, 8 stays)
    • 5 In-depth interviews with customers
    • 7 Payment states on mobile and desktop
    • 2 Add-to-cart variants ready for an A/B test
